The Crescent Bend Sunset Cruise Guide
The stretch of the Red River in front of the resort curves into a wide, natural crescent, which is the same bend that gave the property its name. A handful of local operators run evening cruises out of a dock near the Boardwalk, and enough guests ask about it that our concierge desk keeps a running relationship with two of the more reliable ones.
Getting to the Dock
The cruise dock sits along the Boardwalk waterfront, roughly the same ten-minute walk as the shopping district, or a short valet pickup if you would rather not walk in evening clothes. Boarding typically opens 30 minutes before departure.
What the Cruise Actually Covers
Most sunset cruises run 90 minutes to two hours, tracing the crescent bend past the resort and up toward the bridges connecting Bossier City to Shreveport. Boats are typically open-air on the upper deck with an enclosed lower level, and most operators offer a simple bar service onboard.
Departure times shift with sunset through the year, so confirm the actual boarding time when you book rather than assuming a fixed evening schedule.
Booking Ahead

After the Cruise
