Crescent Bay Resort & Casino
About the Resort

Built Along the Bend, Not Around a Single Idea

Crescent Bay Resort & Casino opened in 2014 on a stretch of the Red River where the water curves into a natural crescent. The property was designed to hold everything a Shreveport-Bossier weekend needs under one roof, without any single amenity crowding out the rest.

How We Got Here

A Riverfront Property Built in Stages, on Purpose

The original building opened with 96 rooms and a single dining room facing the water. Ownership added the gaming floor two years later, then the spa wing, then the courtyard pool deck, then the event lawn along the levee. Each addition was planned around the same idea: a guest should be able to spend three days here and do something different every afternoon without ever needing a car.

Today the resort carries 198 rooms and suites, six dining rooms, a 42,000-square-foot casino floor, a spa built around a live oak courtyard, and enough event space to host a wedding of 300 guests on the same weekend as a corporate retreat in the meeting wing.

Our Approach

Southern Hospitality, Measured Rather Than Assumed

We do not treat hospitality as a slogan on the wall. Every department tracks the same handful of guest satisfaction categories, and the numbers are reviewed by the general manager every week.

Front Desk Response Time

Under four minutes average from check-in request to key in hand, tracked daily across both shifts.

Housekeeping Turnaround

Same-day requests for extra linens or late housekeeping are closed within thirty minutes on average.

Dining Reservation Accuracy

Table holds across all six dining rooms are confirmed by phone or email, not left to a booking widget.

Ownership & Operations

Independently Owned, Locally Managed

Crescent Bay Resort & Casino is independently owned and operated out of Bossier City. Unlike several properties along the river that answer to an out-of-state corporate office, the general manager and department heads here live in the Shreveport-Bossier area and are on property most weeks of the year.

That local footing shows up in small ways — the kitchen sources produce from area growers when the season allows, the events team knows the venues across the river well enough to help a couple plan a rehearsal dinner at a Shreveport restaurant, and the front desk keeps a running list of what is actually worth doing along the Boardwalk this week, not a stock brochure.

Where We Sit

410 Crescent Landing Drive puts the resort on the Bossier City side of the Red River, roughly a ten-minute walk from the Louisiana Boardwalk and a short drive from Barksdale Air Force Base and downtown Shreveport across the water.
